Warming Sock Treatment
Tools Needed
• One pair of thick wool socks
• One pair of cotton socks
• Lavender essential oil
Instructions
•
Soak your feet in a basin or tub of warm water for 5 -10 minutes.
•
Soak
the cotton socks completely with cold water. Sprinkle the socks
with a few drops of essential oil and wring them out thoroughly so
they do not drip.
•
Place the wet cotton socks on your feet. Then pull on the dry wool
socks. Go directly to bed and keep yourself well covered.
• Your body will quickly generate heat to warm up your feet. If
at any point during the treatment you find your feet getting chilled,
give them a quick, brisk rub. Leave the socks on overnight. You
will find that the cotton socks are dry in the morning.
Dose/Timing/Duration
The warming sock treatment is best
if repeated for three nights in a row. It
is safe, and supportive, to use nightly
